It just does not stop. Another day, another new app for the “dead” UIQ3 platform.
X-Key is a virtual keyboard app, that among other things works on landscape mode!!!
More details here. .
Edit: after some testing, i can say the app looks very promising, but has some an, at least on my P1 (english/portuguese language usage). Letters disappear after being pressed (this is a demo limitation afer all), space bar acts like backspace, etc (now corrected). I mean, he´s not asking that much, but this is really an early beta, not a finished product.
Edit 2: Link for version 0.91b (08). Link for feeback.

@Ares
the bug you mentioned isn’t exactly a bug.
“Letters disappear after being pressed”
this is a limitation set by the developer himself as this is a trial/beta copy. he wants us to buy the app.

Humm… the letters missing maybe it’s because it’s a demo version?
Just tried the new version 0.91(8) on the site and it’s the “problem” remains.

Confirmed, it’s a DEMO feature:
“In demo mode, there is limitation - each time keyboard every button can be pressed only once. To remove this restriction, you must purchase a registration code to your phone.”

I just paid for it but didn’t get any key. Maybe later…

He really needs to make up another demo limitation… It’s impossible to judge if it is usuable…

I paid for it and get my code and it works a lot better with their last version (XKey0.97b) and I can tell you it is usable!!.
