This is good news. I am glad to see that some developers still see UIQ as a potential platform. Just a shame SE did not think so. Lets hope more developers come out with software for UIQ!

Yeah…my opinion too…its pretty cool…in alpha state, its better than @web and opera 8.65, and rivals opera 9.5 and opera mini

This truly has to be the best browser available. Its fast, works well. What they need to add is zooming and if they can wangle support for plugins as well as adding tab support, this will be the ultimate UIQ browser!

Excellent! After first start and KERN-@#$ error(probably to free up some memory,P990i ;) )work very fast and very smooth. For me is better and faster than Web or Opera (on first look - simple surfing,am not tested advanced function)

Hi ares,

Just had to get my head round some of the numerous features on this browser. I have discovered the zooming feature. I actually do like Visual Pages features, pretty handy to use if you want to go back to a particular page without having to press the back button several times.

All i can is that this really trumps Opera and @Web by a good mile. I am even able to open my website properly without the lag/crashes from Opera and @Web.

Back to doing some more playing now :D

If this is the alpha version, I cannot wait to see the beta and the official release version of Ozone!

That it works so smoothly on my M600i is a treat!

Memory usage is quite stable, around 10-11Mb for average page(Esato first,My-symbian first etc…) with pictures, in desktop mode.Zoom and Visual Pages has no influence on memory.

Just like everyone else who commented to this post, I’m amazed at the functionality of this browser, I can’t believe that this is only in alpha state, it works perfectly, smooth and is really fast, I didn’t know that my P1 could feel so iphony… :)

Really, give this a try, it is a great software. Once they add more functionality it will tramp all the others, I’m sure.

Great post, thanks.

All I can say is WOW! The best UIQ program I’ve seen!

Wow. Just wow. After UIQ is killed, ozone releases this .sis gem. There are still some features missing (saved pages, keyboard shortcuts, full screen, etc.) , but the speed and the interface design is simply the best. It has incremental find on page (does even safari on iphone have that?)! I love the visual pages. Did I say it was fast? I cannot wait for the future versions.

PS. I use a p1i btw.

First impressions : It easily trumps @web and Opera 9.5. its just so much more friendly and easy to use. Its also a lot faster than both of its counterparts. I for one definetely have my eyes set on the beta :)
