Change bluetooth save path

This has to be one of my favourite mods/hacks ever!

Install qobexlistener (be sure to have swmail´s capswitch + sis installer mod preinstalled on your phone) and reboot your phone and from now on all the files sent via bluetooth to your UIQ3 phone will end up on D://inbox (this folder is automaticaly created) instead of going to messaging and having to save them one by one to where you want.

Kudos to shahram@PGTeam for this great app!

note: this installer is made for phones with english language installed

  1. Ok, but where is D:\\inbox? I don’t see that folder on my P1.
Does it save it just on D folder or what do you mean?

  2. The apps creates d://inbox automaticaly

  3. Only English language pack?

  6. hmm i installed but couldnt get it to work even after reboot and i try to reinstall 2nd time it say error “cannot uninstall” Ares can help on this?

  7. no clue…it works fine for me…

try asking the authors at persian forums

  8. Same with Doministry, I don’t see D:\inbox on my P1i after rebooting. Anything we might be missing here, ares? Thanks!

  9. Doministry already solved his problem…

The inbox folder is created when you transfer files via bluetooth to your phone…AND this is only for phones with english language pack

  10. “AND this is only for phones with english language pack”
    thanx for this important knowledge

  11. Thanks for that, ares. I actually pushed a file from the PC to phone but it saved to messaging as before. My phone has english language by default. Would doministry care to enlighten me of the fix? Do i have to install english language pack again?

  12. My phone came with only two language packs: UK English and American English, since the unit is for Philippine market. I’m using American English. Nevertheless I tried switching to UK English to see if it will change save path to D:\inbox, but no joy. Strange, indeed. Guess I’ll just make do with what the phone wants @_@

  13. It works for me. Everytime I receive file from bluetooth, it goes to D:\inbox. The only problem now is I cannot delete the file list (after we receive a file it should appear). It keeps growing. Is there anyone know how to clear/delete the file list? Thanks again guys.

  14. Somebody know haw to make it work in other languages? Polish for example?

  15. please tell how to uninstall it…
