The battery icon is tricky because it’s mixed with other icons in the status bar in a single MBM file. To make things worth, P990’s icons are incompatible with more recent phones (ex: P1i).
On the other hand, the SE logo on the top left is a standalone file and it works across all phones. Place the file in d:\resource\lsbconlib\lsbmpfo.mbm and reboot. Google ‘lsbconlib’ and you’ll find custom status bar themes around the web.
If anything goes wrong, remove the memorystick and reboot and it will return to the default icons.
Have fun!
Thanks Ares
I’ve got most of the icons out of the drives, but alas they’re in a different order (or have different IDs) from those used on the P1i and W960, so if you use them without any modification you get “interesting” results to say the least. (like the bluetooth connected icon becomes the no network icon)
If I get a chance to have a dig and work out which icon should go where, I’ll let you know…
Anyway…extracting stuff from Beibei is being a pain…no one was able to extract opera 9.5 and the widget apps so far, because things run a bit different on UIQ 3.3, although normall UIQ 3.0 apps install and run fine
Ares, I’m actually trying this first on a W960, as I imagine it’s going to be much harder to match the icons to the UIQ 3.1 / 3.2 firmwares used in the Z8 / Z10.
Solaris looks great, better live than on the screenshots.
CandyStripe is too childish imho.
I’m sorry for tne question, but it is possible to download somewhere icons, application icons and system icons? Thank you!
i WONDER WHY THEY SELDOM RELEASE THEMES AS NICE AS THIS SET. THEY COULD HAVE MADE UIQ USERS HAPPIER DESPITE THEIR SHORTCOMINGS..
Can we have your icons in the statusbar, especially the battery icon?
Can you make a post about it?

Jj, indeed…
Has anyone been able to extract the UIQ3.3 status bar MBM files yet? I’d quite like to use all the 3.3 icons
Stu, here are C and Z drives from Beibei:

Have a look, you might find what you want…then tell us how it worked
@Ares
Keep us informed if the anyone ports those icons the the P1
Thanks Ares

To see what goes where, simply decompress que corresponding MBM on the P1 Z:\Resource\ drive, and the correct order is evident.
LAU, Stu has a Z8 (or Z10), not a P1
