Longcuts 0.8 released
Pepelaz3000 just released a new version of his keyboard mapper. Here is what he says about the new version:
I’ve released new version. One of two things about it is that seems I have fixed all those annoying bugs with typing. Another thing is that I’m going to change the icon to some cooler one, sign the app and get commercial with the next release. That’s why I have had to remove or change some things - like loading on boot and marking the app as system. You are welcome to test the app and request a registration code for this version by email. I’ll try to respond with the codes until commercial version is out.

This new release is the best ever. 30+ shortcuts to any application in your finger tip!
I see that finally is fixed the annoying bug that long-pressing a key while the Standby application was on top, made both the Contacts application and the long-cut application start simultaneously.
The autostart feature of Longcuts is now missing, but Longcuts can still be auto-started by other application (ex: BootMan) and with the advantage that doesn’t pop to the front on boot.
The System application feature seems to be buggy, but I already submitted a bug report.

Seems like the long-press while on the Standby application bug is not fixed for all keys. Only for some keys. Weird…
thanks for update, the bugs of eating character when typing sms had fixed, cool!! but after install, it show trial preiod expired, how come that fast, and how much for register?can’t find on his web
Send a mail to the developer with your IMEI and he will send you the serial.

Thanks for the post, i am using the previous version, this is a good utilities application for the UIQ3 phone.
