Style Tap Public Beta test has started
Style Tap alows running Palm OS apps on UIQ3 devices. This is what some people that registered for the beta testing are now getting on their email boxes:

Oh no, my old Palm V is back!
To tap into the Palm platform is great as there is an HUGE ammount of applications,
But personally… let’s say I still didn’t forgot the 2173 times I lost all the contents of my Palm due to a crash or battery empty.
I’m glad I changed to Symbian!

It was great!!! palm on my p1, had installed a super old game called “Asteria” so miss !!!

I could install StyleTaps on my P1i.
However, I do not know, how to install applications ?

You can find a lot of information about how to install Palm OS apps for StyleTap on P1i from the official website. Especially the HowTo page :

And if you can spend a couple of minutes to read the PDF file that comes together with the installation SIS file, there are also explanation on how to install the PRC or PDB files.
Anyway, to install Palm OS stuff, just put the PRC or PDB file in your memory card (M2) and using a UIQ 3 filemanager (e.g. X-Plore, Swiss Manager, Built-in filemanager etc), click/tap on it, it will call the StyleTap engine and ask you to install the file, just click yes.

Any updates on the apps that can be installed using this, on the P1i?
this is the next MAJOR thing for UIQ if Palm apps can be used with my phone
