I used this app on a recent trip to Sydney (we didn’t want to carry reams of paper!) and it worked well. I found it slow loading .gpx files one by one but if you are a premium member (so you can create pocket queries) you can upload all the caches you want from one file. On the fly decrypting of clues was handy too.
Hi James, thanks for the input!!
I’m a Premium member, and I’ve been using this app for the last year for consulting pocket queries (GPX files).
GPX loading is a breeze, search engine works well, and it can even decrypt hints and load images on demand.
SmartGPX on the mobile phone plus a high sensitivity GPS like the Garmin eTrex H is a no miss geocaching tool.
Highly recommended.
