  1. Hello

What it is the problem ? We are talking about a new OS for 2010 !
Even, if nothing would have changed, UIQ3 would have been succeded by a new OS/UI sooner or later ! So, after the change from UIQ2 to UIQ3, who can guarantee that UIQ4 or UIQ5 is backwards compatible with UIQ3? Nobody. We (Symbian users) do need a strong Symbian socaity. Without S60, we would not have seen so many UIQ3 programs. I can imagine, that even with Symbian Foundation, a Smartphone from SE will look different from a Smartphone from Nokia.
The much bigger issue of this deal is S60 touchscreen. Will Nokia bring this UI to the market ? What will happen with this UI ? If not, can Nokia keep marketshare without S60 touchscreen until 2010 ?
