UIQ situation - ask SE about it
Folowing nipsen´s thoughts on the subject and people´s reaction, its obvious that SE needs to provide some answers.
I figure, why not ask them directly in the only official forum they have, here. Needs registration, answers will take long and probably be pointless, as ever, but hey, at least it acts has a catharsis tool (go ahead asri, ajack) :D

I am afraid it is not. The UIQ company itself is, at least if you ask me, pretty unimportant. It is much more important what SE will do. And that’s why the link in the blog post goes to a SE forum.
Yes agree the poor uiq guys cant do much
