@foxik:old,new,a review is a review. And as old as it may be to you, judging from the number of visits I had,I’d stay I’ll continue to review new and old UIQ programs.

Excellent review as always! Nice job man!

For me, the best screenshot app for UIQ3 is AutoCam by Cellphonesoft. I’ve used all other UIQ3 screenshots apps but none can match the flexibility and power of AutoCam.

Keep up the good work man!

Thanks for putting TOSC back in the spotlight.

It’s a very neat little piece of freeware that does its job without fuss or frills.

(wasn’t it coded by the same person who did StickIt for UIQ3 ? I was always hoping that could be modified to run over Gdesk, rather than Standby).

There’s another review for you there 701…;-)

@asri:I use this one because when I used Autocam it had a watermark (the name) on one of the sides and I didn’t like it.
@aqualung:yes,it’s the same guy but now he has no time as he works for SE.Nice turnout:)I used to use StickIt on my P990i because I didn’t have Today screen like M600i and P1i. I’ll make a review on StickIt soon;)

The watermark in AutoCam you mentioned only appear in the DEMO/TRIAL version. Once you pay the software, and entered the registration code, the watermark disappears.

One of the strongest function in AutoCam is it’s built-in viewer where you can see the screenshots that you took without using any other app.

Cant wait for your next piece!

Cheers :-)

what is the use of this application asri?thanks.

@slickG

th use of these “screenshot” applications is to grab the screen’s display and save it as image file (JPG, BMP, PNG etc). This is necessary for reviewers to tell readers when reviewing applications.

The same function can be seen in Windows desktop by pressing the “Print Screen” button on the keyboard.

Cheers!

@701

Write to support@cellphonesoft.com and tell them you are writing a review of AutoCam. They are very responsive. Maybe they will send you a free reg code :-)

Cheers!
