CPS updates Swiss Manager to version 1.7
One UIQ3 users favourite aplications has been updated. Swiss Manager Pro 1.7 is a major update, with many new features and enhanced behavior.

- Support for invoking functions from other applications.
- Application setup command to configure applications not currently running.
- New options for instant display of Favorites.
- New option to perform cleanup on startup.
- New status icon format displaying large size text.
- Selectable display of time or free memory on status icon.
- Enhanced file copy operations.
- Improved performance and reliability.
- Numerous additional enhancements, optimizations, and bugfixes.SMP 1.70 can execute its most important commands upon requests from other applications. Such interface is provided by our popular Function server plugin for GDesk. As an example, it is now possible to close all background apps without leaving GDesk.
The free edition of Swiss Manager is also updated to version 1.70, with some new features and improved internal engines.

I must say this version is very useful and boasts a lot of features. It’s a MUST have application for all UIQ 3 smartphones. I have betatesting it for weeks and the developer is one of the most responsive I’ve dealt with
If there’s an application you need to buy for your UIQ 3 smartphone, buy Swiss Manager Pro. You wont regret it.
Although the functions in the new version 1.70 are incremental, they totally add usability and usefulness to some functions that we use daily.

You are right! This is a MUST HAVE appl, and the developer is very responsible, they told me at the beginings of this week that they were going to release the 1.70 version this week, and they did it!.
I’ve updated mine from 1.60 and I have to say it has some new options but nothing really, really NEW. I mean, 1.60 WAS a major update after 1.50. But I use it since M600i and I have to say they are doing a great job!
Well, I think it is still one of the most useful UIQ 3 applications out there. The additional functions in v1.70 are incremental but they are essential over the existing ones
