“Iphone lock” now a native UIQ3 app
Remember “iphone lock”, that curious little java app that emulates the iphone lock screen function? While i liked it, it had some problems, and being in java was the reason for some: it was slow, and RAM hungry.
Well, good news is that now you can find it on native symbian UIQ3 format. Above you can see what nipsen did with it
Edit:the guy you all should thank is mr. Kwull from smart-se.ru, he his the author of the app, and he already launched a new beta: Iphone Lock
[thanks to Anagarika from my-symbian for the heads up!]

This is lovely!
With this and Gdesk (e.g. Vtouch-theme) my M600i gets some nice eye candy! Works really good and doesn’t accidently turn off due to low RAM like the Java-version did.
Works great!
But anyway to change the background picture? i dont like the iphone theme
open your memory card with thru ur pc
-open D:/Shared/iphone and copy SKIN.MBM
-just add the wallpaper 240×320 in the skin.mbm through the mbm tool
-once uve open it delete the old wallpaper
-save the mbm file with the same name SKIN.MBM
thanks ares!
I noticed a bg too, the camera button isn’t covered by the lock, so when you press it it goes to camera mode and no way of exiting it unless you press on the internet (shortcut) button.
there is a new version:
