   Is there gonna a be a new update for Swiss Manager Pro 1.60?

   yep. I’m betatesting SMP 1.70 at the moment. Just wait for the official announcement because the release date is imminent

   Let me ask you a question, do you think this is a MUST HAVE appl? I was looking around for a detailed review but I couldn’t find any.

   I have Memory Up, link boy, dreamlife, mobile security from trend micro and some appl from Mr Benoit Dupont. I don’t know what exactly is the deal of this appl, could you give me a link to read something of this? To me this appl do the same as the other functions of the phone, the only different is the things are in one place or more easy to get, but I could be wrong.

   Now, LinkBoy is an alternative application launcher. And it’s not only launch applications but many more things can be done with is like quick SMS, quick calendar entry etc.

   Whether it is a MUST HAVE or not, that depends entirely on how you use your UIQ 3 smartphone.

   For UIQ 3, at the moment, LinkBoy and GDesk are the 2 most famous alternative system tools. You have to test both to know whether you need that kind of system tools or not. As for me, Swiss Manager Pro does everything I need

   Err… Why there’s an AntiVirus on your UIQ 3 smartphone? You know that there is NO virus for Symbian OS v9.x above right? My advice, get rid of it. It slows down your system because it consumes RAM and it needs to stay in nthe background you know

   Oops! there isn’t virus on symbian OS? I didn’t realize about it. I was afraid about surfing the net, that’s why I bought this appl.

   But now, I already read this review on AAS

   I already unistall the software. The only thing I miss is the SMS spam, which one do you think is the better spam block software available?

   So I have just one question related to this topic, what about virus on Java 2 appl? Is there a risk on this?

   On the other hand I have LinkBoy and this app is very nice and I used it. My question was about SMP which I think is an appl that do the same thing of the build in task manager. Just a few improvements… maybe the new version will be better and with more options than the actual version.

   Just one question, what about a software which could cause your phone inestable even it couldn’t spread out. This is a risk too? Are there software like that?

   Dorman,

   There are 2 versions of Swiss Manager. The normal version and the Pro version.

   Both have 3 main functions:
   1. Taskmanager
   2. Filemanager
   3. System monitor

   Both are DIFFERENT than the basic built-in taskmanager.

   The highlight of Swiss Manager PRO is the Swiss Manager Pro icon which can be configured to perform many functions without going to the Swiss Manager Pro screen.

   The icon can be configured to be visible in all applications and you can perform many things like launching applications, switching between open applications, cleaning-up RAM memory and so on.

   And the icon also give a nice summary of the system. It displays clock too!

   Try the 30 days demo and I assure you, Swiss Manager Pro is THE MUST HAVE application for UIQ 3.
