MyPhoneExplorer now Supports Symbian UIQ3 phones
MyPhoneExplorer, one of the best freeware apps available for SE phones, is finally available for UIQ3 powered devices (P990, P1, M600, W950, W960, and possibily Moto Z8), although with limited features.
As esato user rishone reports , right now one can only sync SIM contacts, Messages, and Call register, and also send/receive SMS on the PC. There is no support for contacts in phone memory and Organizer. This limited support is very similar to what FMA alows right now for UIQ3 phones.
Lets hope support for UIQ3 phones will be extended/improved in the near future. Users can contact the dev F.J. Wechsellberger at the MPE forum. If you don´t understand german, there is also an english based section on the same forum.
Be sure to give some donation to support the development of this great app, UIQ3 users really could use a decent and more powerfull free alternative to SE PC Suite. The only other two alternatives are the aforementioned FMA (also freeware) and the excessively expensive Oxygen Phone Manager.
