When can we get SMS threading app? Come on UIQ3 developers
On the N95 that I use, there’s an application that I use very frequently. It’s called SMSChat, developed by SymbianWave. What it does is actually presenting incoming and outgoing text messages in threaded mode ala instant messaging where you can view them nicely.
This is a 3rd party solution, S60 3rd Edition doesnt have it built-into the OS. But SymbianWave took the initiative to bring it to the S60 users. Now my question is, where’s the UIQ 3 version? Will it be made available for us UIQ 3 users or we’re going to wait till eternity to get it on our UIQ 3 smartphones? For S60 3rd Edition users, this SMSChat from SymbianWave is not the only solution, they have at least 2 other applications with the same functions like SMSChat. One is called SMSThread and another one is Nokia’s own Conversation which has just been released by Nokia Labs.
Isn’t it great if this cool application is brought to UIQ 3?
