More information on Motorola Z10
I was just about to hit my sack when I receive this information. The Motorola Z10, successor to the Z8 is real and some specifications have been posted on the internet. Here are some details :
*GSM850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA, GPRS/EDGE, 3.6 Mbps HSDPA connectivity
*Symbian 9.2 OS with UIQ 3.2 UI
*3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, 8x digital zoom, flash and 30 fps QVGA video recording capability
*VGA front camera
*2.2″ 320×240 QVGA 16M color display
*90 MB of built-in memory
*microSD memory card slot
*Bluetooth A2DP, miniUSB
UIQ 3.2? That is an interesting information. There have been no news about it’s development and on UIQ Technology’s website, the latest UIQ version is 3.1. Could this signs a new version is on the horizon and Motorola had the priveledge to develop the first device using it? The Z8 was the first UIQ 3.1 smartphone and if it’s true that Z10 utilises UIQ 3.2, it’s another first for Motorola. Can anyone confirm?
Designwise, it’s very similar to Z8 except the colour and from these photos, the UI is somewhat different. The application icons at the bottom of the screen is something new and worth to check out!
